Nadya Rued
A bit about me.
I attended Chapman University in Orange, CA and completed two Bachelors degrees. The first is Public Relations, Advertising, and Entertainment Marketing in the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. The second is Strategic & Corporate Communication in the School of Communication. While pursuing these two degrees, I was also part of the University Honors Program where I received two awards: Outstanding Student and Academic Excellence.
At Chapman, I have had the opportunity to learn how to cut a trailer and create campaigns for movies and non-profits to advertising and public relations. I competed in the National Bateman Competition through the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where I tested everything I had learned in a real-world campaign for a client, EveryLibrary. Through these experiences, I have learned communication skills, editing, design, research skills, copywriting, and copyediting.
Outside of school, I have a deep love for the outdoors, nature, and ecology and am most likely planning my next adventure. My most recent trip was a seven-day backpacking trip in New Zealand as I was studying at the University of Vicotria, Wellington. In addition the outdoors, I love to draw and watercolor and have two cats (Jun and Harry) who I adore.
